Hi
I'm using 11.0 Beta 7 with Windows 11 24h2 and I cannot add any Taskbar shortcuts. I think it is because the display selector at the top of the form is not showing a display number; I just get a single box with no monitor number value. It doesn't respond to any clicking to select the monitor.
Any ideas on how to resolve this?

Could you send me a screenshot of the taskbar shortcut editor window?

Here you go. If choose any option from the "Add" button, nothing happens. :)
I want to try and replicate the Windows 10 functionality of adding the Desktop menu to the taskbar that is missing from Windows 11. Windows 11 24H2 nolonger understands the registry settings to revert back to Windows 10 taskbar behaviour and ideally, I would prefer retain the W11 taskbar but with the Desktop menu capability that W10 had.

Thanks for sending that over, Could you send me a copy of your troubleshooting info as well? Here are the steps:

  • Open the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button
  • Reply with the file attached

Thanks for sending that over, it doesn't look like you have any DisplayFusion taskbars which is why you can't add any shortcuts. If you split your monitor and add taskbars to the splits, or turn the "Show DisplayFusion taskbar on Windows taskbar monitor" advanced setting on, you'll get a DisplayFusion taskbar that you can add shortcuts to.

Thanks Owen. That makes sense.!
Although it now works, unfortunately, when I add the Desktop folder as a menu option, it doesn't replicate the W10 Dekstop menu popup which was what I was trying to achieve.
Interestingly, OpenShell does convert the Desktop folder into a menu tree so I have been able to overcome the problem with OpenShell.:)
