RTFM for taskbarbuttoniconsizeoverride says 1-1000... what?
And what is recommended?
Is there a default value when override not applied?

If the advanced setting isn't set, it tries to detect it automatically based on the monitor scaling level. You can see the auto-detected value on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab under the "Taskbar [monitorid]" section ("Button Icon Size Draw").
Normally you shouldn't need to set it with the advanced setting. Are you running into an issue with the auto-detected size?

I prefer minimum space between lines. The icons are bigger than the text.
I'm not quite sure what you mean. Could you send over a screenshot?

There's too much space above and below each taskbar item. MS seems to prefer underutilizing space, and pushing design concepts on everyone.
People need good devs to fix MS.

Ah I see. The taskbarbuttoniconsizeoverride setting only controls the icon size, not the button size or gap. There aren't any for controlling the vertical size or gap. If we're able to add one in a future version, we'll be sure to let you know.
Thanks!
We've just released DisplayFusion 10.0 Beta 22 and it's got advanced settings for the button sizes now. Look for the "Horizontal Taskbar Button Size" and "Vertical Taskbar Button Size" options in the Advanced Settings. They're set in pixels and you'll need to restart DisplayFusion after adjusting them.
Thanks!
