I've tried some other products and have come back to DisplayFusion to try it again, which is why I'm writing a few comments lately.
Beta 19... the multiple preview thumbnails on secondary taskbars are great, but I'm missing a couple of things compared to the default Windows 7 behavior. We use Communicator a tonne here at work (akin to Windows Live Messenger), and I often have four or five windows open. I like to keep it on my second monitor, which is why these issues are annoying to me.
1. I'm missing titles over the preview windows. These are a huge timesaver when I have a bunch of conversation windows or email messages open at one time.
2. The actual preview thumbnail doesn't flash on attention. When a new message comes in to Communicator, the group of icons on the taskbar flashes just like on the main taskbar. However, when I hover over the icon group on the main taskbar, all thumbnails display and the window that caused the flashing is highlighted (see attachment). In the DF taskbar, none of the windows is highlighted, and I have to click into each window to see where I received the new message.
See the attachment for an illustration of both nits.
