Hello

I remember that I once had a program that came with a feature that made it possible to click on a pin up in the corner of a window, and the window would be toggles "always on top" until you clicked the pin again.

Though, I eventually stopped using this program (this was only a feature in a bigger app) and every day since then I've missed that feature - a lot.

So, I though, as you already have implemented quite a bit of window management in DF, that you could make this a titlebar button function.

As far as I know the whole "pinning an object to stay on top"-part is only about some registry alterations, though I am not sure.

Though I'm sure there's other apps out there with this feature, I'm not too fund of running a lot of "crap" in the background, so if this could be something you could implement in DF, I'd be forever grateful.

So, thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

IIRC it is on Jons wishlist. He will come in here soon and confirm.

You must be psychic, because that feature is already planned. :) I believe it is scheduled for inclusion in 3.1.9 (2 versions away), but it will allow you to "pin" windows as being "always on top". :) Thanks!

Oh, I most have missed that then.

Anyway, that's wonderful. I can't wait for this :)

A w e s o m e!

Just got the newest beta, and it's working like a charm (though it needs an icon).

You definitely deserve a big hug.

@Habitats: Thanks, glad to hear it's working! I've got my icon artist creating ~20 new icons for the 3.1.7 release, hopefully some of them will be ready in time for beta 5. :)
