Any suggestions, or is this a known bug?
Thanks for letting us know about this, Brian! It looks like it's a bug that only shows up when using the "High Contrast" themes. We'll add this to our list and hopefully have it fixed up soon.

Hey Keith,
Sounds great, except, I'm not using a High Contrast Theme in Win 8... at least I don't believe I am.
From your screenshot it looks like the High Contrast theme, and I was able to reproduce it here with that theme. Can you try right-clicking your desktop, choosing Personalize, and then choosing one of the themes under the "Windows Default Themes" sections?

Ok, yes that did fix it choosing a "Windows Default Themes", I was though using a "My Themes" in the screenshot, and it wasn't a "High Contrast Theme".
Ok, good to know! Which version of Windows did you upgrade from?

Just to show... see attached.
Obviously with the orange color, its not a high contrast theme.. right? :/

I upgraded from Win 7 Pro 64 SP1.
And I upgrade with crossover of all: Files - Settings - Apps
