Google Chrome has added a new feature that adds a button besides the min&max&close buttons in the titlebar. This is conflicting with DF titltebar buttons.
Attached is a screenshot of the new button laying below a few buttons I've setup in DF. The button says "Jeroen", which is my name. Which also means that the button will have variable width as everyone's name length could be different.
I couldn't find any documentation or mention of the new button in the current development build, but apparently this is an
old feature which now is back.
I'm not sure if they are just testing this feature again or that they really going to release it, but I thought I mention it.
Google Chrome Version 38.0.2121.3 dev-m (64-bit)
Window 7 64-bit
DisplayFusion Pro v6.0.1 (Beta 2)

Yeah, we'll just have to move them far enough over for most setups, and then people can customize with a Compatibility rule if needed.
Keith, I'm always impressed with the foresight binaryfortress put into this program. I didn't even know these rules existed, and this not only resolved the issue with Chrome's moved Profile pull-down, but on another application where it was conflicting with DisplayFusion's buttons. On that one application, it was more appropriate just to disable the buttons. Nice work.
To anyone else reading this, -60 Horizontal looked good to me, if you want to give it a try.

I love this software! I had this issue today with Chrome's maximized window and the "move window to next monitor button." A quick Google search and I ended up on displayfusion's website, which tells me a lot about the work and time you all put into this. Thank you!
No worries Steven, glad to hear it!

I've just posted a new discussion on this. Mines has dissappeared completely with v38 and even with the fix it does not work.
Any suggestions?

Thanks for pointing out the Compatibility page!
There is stuff in Display Fusion I still don't know how to use and that fixed my Chrome issue with the Profile change button.

I am now running Version 40.0.2214.93 m and I can see the titlebar back. I have adjusted it with the compatibility settings as well.
Thanks

Odd. It was OK before (7.1) but now it's overlapping (7.2) without compatibility setting. Chrome 41.0.2272.16 (64-bit)
.
@bkptn: Which version of Windows are you running, and are you using a custom theme on Chrome?

I have used both DF 7.1 and 7.2. I'm running Chrome 40.0.2214.93 m (64-bit). In both instances the DF title bar buttons appears to the left of the Chrome switcher button in the first chrome user window I open. However, if I open a second Chrome window with a different user, than the Chrome switcher button and the DF buttons overlap.

It appears to be working correctly for short user names. However, I have one user name that is so long that Chrome doesn't display the entire name. It ends with "..." For that particular name, there is a small overlay. See picture attached.

Any updates on this issue? I just had to add the compatibility setting for chrome (using DisplayFusion Pro / Steam 7.1) and found the solution here. Not a big deal as the compatibility setting works just fine, just curious...

On Vista and up, titlebar issues can be fixed easily by applying an aero-less theme, like Google's own Brushed.
Works in "chromelikes" like Yandex too. Aero-enabled themes can also cause issues in Chromelikes where the Menu button is moved to top left.
Even non-DF users may run into this, such as myself.
I signed in just to make this tip appear in the already top result.
I am still angrily waiting for Google to enable "native titlebar" option on Win32 just like on *nix to stop those awkward issues from happening again!
