Mmm, not a big problem really, but it's only to make it look nicer, y'know?

Also, they shouldn't glow when Aero is off, just show a highlight.

I have tested quite a bit with Aero and Basic modes, and it has always changed the buttons appearance for me. Were you using Aero and switched to Basic, or did you boot up using Basic?

I opened up a program that turned Aero off, I have it on as default. :I

Which program was it that caused this problem? Does it happen every time? I set the compatibility options for a program and when I opened it everything re-adjusted as expected. What version of Windows are you using?

I used VB6 (which disables desktop composition/Aero upon startup) and the image in the first post is of a CLI PHP console.

Oh, and I have Win7 Ultimate.

Do all windows show the incorrect TitleBar Buttons, or just the PHP window?

Well, now that i have the beta 11, they're seperate buttons...so I suppose this is fixed?...or is that not a feature?

This is fixed. :) This is what Windows without Aero looks like... spaced out buttons. I have to leave a little gap like that, otherwise in some cases the buttons will overlap with the Windows buttons.
