Hi, sorry to bug again but got an other new bug with beta 105. Now the titlebar buttons are on the far left and not on the Trillian Astra (build 4.1.24), chat window. They are just floating on non-part of the skin.

OS: Win7 x64 Pro

Well, here is a fix.

Go to settings, compatibility. Add trillian to the list, and change to offset. Fixt.

The same thing happens with hamachi. I still view it as no big deal, but I figured Jon would like to know.

What version of Trillian are you using? Are the buttons still floating way to the left? Are you using a custom theme?

Version: Trillian Astra version 4.1.24
Skin/Theme: Avion Pro (but does it on both default skins).
Still floating in the same place as the 1st posted image.

Hamachi has the main window fixed.. as much as it will be. However this has also effected the chat window.

This is EXACTLY why you have compatibility options, which will fix this on a per user basis. Sure, for the more popular applications you can do this, but even AIM doesn't have title bar buttons, because they just wont fit.

I have fixed Hamachi for Beta 7, and I've done the best I can with Trillian for Beta 7. The TitleBar Buttons in Hamachi should be nearly perfect, but in Trillian they are off by a bit on some of the windows. Unfortunately, because Trillian draws it's own custom windows it doesn't report the client size and border correctly, so there really isn't a good way to position the buttons 100%. I've done the best I can, and it's completely functional, it's just a bit mis-aligned on some of the windows. :) Keep an eye out for Beta 7 later today. Thanks!

yea that will work, I can just turn it off for trillian if it bugs me. I will yell at them on how trillian handles the skinning and see if in version 4.2 they will fix that.

If all of the Trillian windows had a constant border width it would be easy. Unfortunately, some of the windows have an invisible border around them, but asking for the client area size returns the window size including the border. That means there's no way to detect the border size and DisplayFusion is left guessing where the buttons should go. It doesn't look perfect, but it's still fully functional. :)
