GitHub Desktop has its own colour-scheme and draws the windows titlebar in a different colour. (Try to spot 'em on the screenshot!)

My only idea to fix this was the search for a compatibility-setting thsat would enable me to select different colours for the toolbar-buttons, specifically for Github Desktop - but that does not seem to exist.

Is there another way to somehow make them visible even when running GH?

I'm not seeing the screenshot, could you try attaching it again?

Sorry, forgot that one. Please see below. There should be 3 Icons, I hovered over the leftmost so that you see that DF is active ;-)

Thanks! For this, I would recommend changing the TitleBar Button theme to "Windows Aero." Here are the steps to do that:

  • Open the DisplayFusion Settings > Functions tab.
  • Click the TitleBar Button in the preview at the bottom of the Functions tab, then click the Edit (looks like a pencil) button.
  • Select "Windows Aero" from the "TitleBar Button Image Set" drop-down.
  • Select the appropriate icon from the "TitleBar Button Image" drop-down.
Those icons are better suited to a mix of light and dark coloured titlebars :)

Hope that helps!
