Hi there.
I now have 10 Buttons in my Titlebar. And I still would like to add some more functions. But this is growing much too big.
So, how do I make a button act like a sub-menu, where I can add functions?

Could you post an 'Unprotected' screenshot showing the buttons that you want a context menu on?

I don't know why you need a screenshot. For example I want to group:
- Center Window
- Move window left
- Move window top
- Move window top-left
- Move window right
- Move window top-right
- Move window bottom
- Move window bottom-left
- Move window bottom-right

This are 9 Buttons in the titlebar. And I would like to have them in a sub-menu.

This is currently on our feature request list, though unfortunately I can't offer an ETA on it. In the meantime, one workaround could be to have a scripted function that shows a dialog with a drop-down list containing those functions. Then you could just show that dialog using a single titlebar button, and choose the function you want. We can write up that scripted macro if it's something you think would be helpful :)

I'm currently using this workaround. But a real sub menu would safe some clicks.
Hope you include this feature with the next patch.
Thx!

Ok, no worries! It won't be in the next version, but I will be sure to let you know if/when we are able to implement it :)

Agreed, a drop down would be nice since many titlebar buttons displayed on a small window, well... it just does not work when there is not enough horizontal space ! :o

Hey, what do you guys think? This wasn't interesting for the devs for 6 years, why should they implement that now? LOL :D

Well they might if there is seen to be enough interest! :P
Strangely enough this relates to a 'newbie' question I asked earlier regarding having a 'pop-out' for titlebar buttons on tabbed applications such as Firefox and Chrome - where currently DF's choices are either don't display, or display over tabs (or other controls if move titlebar location).
A pop-out or drop down would get my vote! +1

DS1508 Why now? Look at Microsoft. Look at the Edge menu. Hamburger buttons are all the design rage now. It's also not that hard to implement. It also solves the problem with title bar buttons where because minimalist design uses the title bar for a menu, leaving so little real estate you really only have room for one button.
