Here's two I would like some help with.
First up is the DF taskbar. I cannot find anywhere in the settings how to activate the up arrow for the notification area, can you point me to that?

Secondly, I use an app called UWD to remove the Microsoft watermark for Insider Builds. When I change my desktop backgrounds through DF the watermark pops up again and stays there until I either logout then on again or reboot my PC, why is that?
Screenshots below

Thanks
Alan

Hi Alan,

1. If you have tray icons enabled that arrow should be appearing by default. Are you using any other 3rd party taskbar programs, like Start11 or StartAllBack?

2. It seems like Windows refreshes the watermark whenever the work area or desktop changes, we've seen it happen where opening Co-pilot moves the watermark as well

Thanks!

Hello Owen,

I use Start11 and WindowBlinds, I disabled both of them but no change. I will try uninstalling them to see if that makes a difference.

Thanks for the heads up about the watermark

Well tried uninstalling both of the StarDock apps - no difference.
Uninstalled DisplayFusion and reinstalled it - still no difference.

As I am running the latest Insider Dev Build I think I will have a complete reinstall and see if that makes any difference.

Could you send me a copy of your troubleshooting info? Here are the steps:

  • Open the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button
  • Reply with the file attached

Here you are Owen, this is with both StarDock products running and DF is a clean install with nothing changed at all.

Thanks for sending that over, it's strange the network and volume icon are appearing. Could you send me a backup of your DisplayFusion Settings as well? You can grab them via the DisplayFusion Settings Window > Options > Export Settings.

Thanks!

Here you are, a nice shiny new install with nothing changed and still the notification arrow is absent without leave.
Backup as requested attached.

Thanks for sending that over, I can't seem to reproduce it on my end with your settings either. It looks like you have Windhawk installed as well, do you have any mods to adjust the taskbar there? Any other apps you're using to adjust the system clock?

No just Windhawk to change the tasbar clock, I will try with it disabled and if need be uninstalled.
Failing that I feel it will have to be a reinstall of Windows back to the official release, maybe it is the dev channel that is messing with it.
Thanks for your time on this one Owen.
