I'm setting up a new workstation and would like to have one 1920x1080 monitor (landscape)for browser activity and a 4K 3840x2160 (portrait) with a horizontal split creating stacked virtual monitors for Drafting applications.

I have searched recent posts looking to see if DF would be appropriate for the setup and I am not finding anything that gives me any clarity.

I'll be utilizing the Quadro K1200 video card if that makes any difference.

Any insight would be appreciated.

You should be able to do this with DisplayFusion :)

Here are the steps to setup the splitting:
  • Right-click the DisplayFusion tray icon and choose "Monitor Configuration"
  • Select the monitor you want to split, and click the "Splits and Padding" button
  • Choose a split setup from the "Preset Splits" button
  • Click OK, then OK again

Hope that helps!
