Hi,
I'm having an issue with DisplayFusion where sometimes it renders an aditional taskbar, besides the default Windows taskbar, on my primary monitor. This happens after I turn off my TV (the third monitor connected to my graphic card). Sometimes it happens on the first time that I cycle the TV power and sometimes it happens after X times (2, 3, 4,...). There is no pattern. After this issue starts, the second taskbars goes away when I turn on the TV and comes back after I turn the TV off. It seems that this "alien taskbar" is the TV taskbar that inadvertently goes to the primary monitor when it shouldn't.
The second taskbar is rendered around 2 inches above the main taskbar. I can only get rid of this issue by rebooting the computer.

I have a desktop with AMD Radeon 7900 graphic card (Sapphire Radeon Vapor-X HD 7950 OC) connected in two 24" monitors (displayport and DVI) and a TV (HDMI). The Catalyst software version is 14.12 and driver is 14.501.1003-141120a-178000C.
My DiplayFusion version is 7.1.

I kindly would like to ask for help on this matter.

Thank you in advance!

Could you enable debug logging and send a copy of the log the next time you're able to reproduce this issue? Here are the steps:
  • On the Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal"
  • Restart DisplayFusion
  • Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Send us the DisplayFusion.log and DebugInfo.html files (can be found by clicking the Open Log button on the Troubleshooting tab)
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

Thanks!

Dear Keith, thank you for your help and sorry for the late reply.
I've done the following steps, as advised:
1)Configured the debug;
2)Restarted the computer;
3)Started cycling the TV on and off;
4)After the issue I've created the compressed file from the two files that you have asked.

The events that I've done chronologically are:
19:30:30 - Turned ON the TV
19:31:20 - Turned OFF the TV
19:31:45 - Turned OFF the second monitor
19:32:12 - Turned ON the TV
19:33:24 - Turned OFF the TV
19:34:03 - Turned ON the TV
19:34:25 - Turned ON the second monitor
19:37:25 - Turned OFF the TV
19:39:18 - Turned ON the TV
20:06:37 - Turned OFF the TV (PROBLEM SHOWED UP)

All the second are approximated.

Thank you one more time for the support.

Got the logs, thanks! I can see where this is happening in the log, but I have no idea why. We'll need to review the code for the taskbar setup to see what we can find. I'll keep you posted as soon as we have more news :)

Thanks!

We haven't been able to figure out what could be causing that to happen yet :(

However, would you be able to try the latest 7.2 Beta (http://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta/) to see if it's still broken in that build? Just want to confirm that it's still an issue with the latest DF code.
