It looks like you've got a great app here. There's one feature that would put a nail in http://realtimesoft.com/ultramon/'s coffin... A taskbar for the secondary windows.

I hate having to go all the way to the first monitor to find an application that is open on one of my secondary monitors, and Ultramon is the only software that I've found that effectively solves that problem.

If you added that feature, then I'd switch over in a heartbeat. Especially since your software is free and Ultramon is not.

Thanks for the great feedback. I can't make any promises, but I have been playing around with the additional taskbar idea with some prototype code, and it seems fairly straight-forward to implement. I'm sure that a future version of DisplayFusion will have this functionality, but for now it needs a lot of work before it can be included.

Had to register just to add my input here :P I completely agree with this notion. If this feature was added and added a taskbar function as well as maybe the window shortcuts like ultramon (except working in Vista!) I'd gladly switch and pay for this instead!

That aside still a great product and I have almost becom used to finding apps on one taskbar instead of two just because this software works properly under Vista x64! Thanks for your work! 8-) :-D

Glad to hear you like it so much. :) The taskbar is in the works, but it is nowhere near ready for public release. I'll let everyone know once it's closer to being a reality.

Thanks!

Task bar - good idea

How about HotKeys to enable/disable multiple monitors. I use a laptop, and have an extra monitor at work. I use UltraMon (have temporarily uninstalled to try your software), and can turn on my extended desktop with Ctrl+Alt+0.

This is a feature I wasn't planning on adding until at least v2.0, as it requires some substantial interface and underlying code changes, but it is on my list of things to add.

Thanks!
