After saving the various windows (three monitors), I press "Load" or try to Load from a context menu on any screen and the screen jumps a bit but nothing loads. Any one having this experience?

Are you referring to the Window Position Profiles?

Thanks!

Yep...

Say I have three monitors. Each screen displays two applications each aligned center, this worked initially when I first installed the program a ways back..

Ok, could you send me a backup of your settings? (Settings > Options > Export)

Thanks!

Yep, that's it, thanks! It looks like a lot of the entries in the Window Position Profiles have file names or page titles in their "Window Text" condition. If you edit the Profiles and disable the Window Text condition for each app, they should work.

If not, please let me know!

Thanks, no...I may not understand how the function is to work. I scaled down the profile to just one application, removed the title, etc., but still a no go loading the profile with keyboard shortcut or Load Profile.

Ok, that's really strange! Could you send me a debug log?

  • On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and click Apply
  • Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Reply with the file attached
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

Left ya hanging for a super long time, sorry. So I'm finally getting back around to the issue of not being able to open Window Profiles, either via Hot Keys or the Load command. See the attached log file. That and this all occured around 12:37AM-12:40AM EST

Thanks for having a look...

Thanks! According to the log, the hotkey is detected and the profile is being loaded, so there may be something wrong with the profile itself. Could you attach a backup of your settings? (Settings > Options > Export)
