I recently installed a TV in the same room as my PC and I figured hey why not hook up my PC to it so I can play some PC Games on the TV now and then. The only issue is I wanted to set up a Monitor Configuration to only have my two monitors active (so no windows can open on the tv) and a monitor configuration with my two monitors and the TV active. When trying to disable the TV in the monitor configuration I'm met with the below error.
An error has occurred while applying your new Monitor configuration.
Please check your settings and try again.
Error: Failed to call SetDisplayConfig. [HR: 87]
[System.Exception]
I did see in another post that rolling back to version 9.5 fixes this and I can confirm that it fixes this. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work in versions beyond 9.5 from my testing. Is there a workaround to get it to work in the newer versions or is it still a lasting issue?

We're tracking a current list of error 87 issues and we're planning to do an in-depth investigation into them soon. I've added your info to the open ticket and we'll be sure to let you know when it's all sorted out.

In the meantime, if 9.5 is working for you, feel free to stick with that version :)

Thanks!

Hello,

We've made some changes to our monitor configuration code that should fix this up in our latest beta, as described here: https://www.displayfusion.com/Discussions/View/monitor-configuration-backend-completely-revamped-in-displayfusion-100-beta-18/?ID=b17dacd1-0611-48c1-a29c-3a3e5046812a

Please let me know if you run into any issues after updating.

Thanks!
