Hello,

When I have my windows xp taskbar as a column on the left side of my (left) display, I get some unexpected behaviour when using the span-window-across-all-monitors--ie. maximizing a window to both screens--the new fully-maximized window does not allow for the taskbar, instead goes behind it. (so the file, edit, etc menu items in the application are behind the taskbar, which is about 1-1/2" wide).

Using the windows maximize button in an application ( open office, cad programs, etc) all maximize to both displays but do not go behind the vertical task bar.

System has 2 24" monitors.

I can send a picture of it, if you can tell me how to upload it, or where to send it.

Is there a setting or an interaction between settings that can solve this?

Can you please attach a screenshot of your desktop showing the problem to a response here? Just click the "Additional Options" link when writing your response. What are you using to span the window? Is it a DF hotkey?

In an effort to cleanup the DisplayFusion forum, this topic is being locked and archived because it applies to an older version of DisplayFusion. If you are using the latest version of DisplayFusion and would still like some assistance, please create a new topic and I'll be happy to help you out. There are also beta versions available for testing the latest features and bug fixes:
