Hi,

in our company we are soon to be having a company version of Display Fusion.
I already searched diskussions (maybe wrong keywords) but it is actually a very simply question:

Atm we do have a program at the autostart of the user to run when being logged on.
With DF we would like to either do a batch file:
- at logon wait a bit first to get all necessarys windows things getting loaded,
- then start our program,
- wait again until it has fully loaded,
- and then load DF with doing a key combination to stretch it over 2 monitors

Or would it be better to use it with the inbuilt DF functions?
I dont have that much experience with scripting, so i rather ask here first before everything goes awry

thx to any answers

Hello,

Are you looking to not start DisplayFusion until after that program is fully loaded, or are you looking to just run a hotkey to stretch that program after it's fully loaded?

Hi,

actually both, DF shouldnt load until the other one is fully loaded and afterwards we want it to be stretched out.

best regards,

You can use our triggers (guide on that here: https://www.displayfusion.com/HelpGuide/Triggers/) with the "DisplayFusion Starts" event to run the span function on that app.

As for waiting to launch DisplayFusion until that app is fully loaded, that's outside of our scope as DisplayFusion scripting won't help here since it's not running.

Thanks!
