Is there a well written guide to how to create Triggers anywhere?

About 3 weeks ago, after one of the updates, my windows stopped sometimes opening on the correct monitors. I run a two monitor set up and want the following to happen:

Chrome and Team speak to open on the left monitor. All other applications to open on the right monitor.

Currently when I open the battle.net launcher (for games by Blizzard) the launcher opens on the right monitor as intended, but sporatically (sometimes but not always) the launcher will open the game on the left monitor which I don't want. But other times it will open them on the right. I want consistency, but currently experience inconsistency. I'd like to set up triggers so that the behavior is consistent, but don't really understand triggers.

There is! Check out this guide: https://www.displayfusion.com/KB/WorkingWithTriggers/

Also, I'm wondering if the behaviour you're seeing is due to the new "Move newly opened application windows to current monitor" option that's on the Settings > Window Management tab. Before creating any Triggers, I'd recommend disabling that option and testing to see if that was the cause :)

Please let me know if you have any other questions at all.

Thanks!

I have already disabled the "Move newly opened application windows to current monitor" setting and the behavior persists.

Ok, were you able to try creating Trigger rules to move the applications? If so, and it's still not helping, could you attach screenshots of a couple of the rules?
