Hi,
I use Displayfusion with a Samsung Ultra Wide monitor. The screen is divided into three areas.
I use the taskbar with double height.
In the main taskbar icons and tabs are displayed in two lines.
However, with the new beta version, in the two additional areas everything is displayed in just one line, despite the double taskbar height.
How can I fix this?
Thanks

Just installed beta 25, but it doesn't fix the problem.
Even a restart of the system did not help.
Attached a new troubleshooting info.

When can we expect version beta 26?
We've just posted Beta 26. Could you give it a try and let me know how it works out?
Thanks!

Terminated Displayfusion, installed the new version with admin rights and afterwards restarted PC.
... then, big disappointment.
In the main taskbar icons and tabs are displayed in two lines, but in the two additional taskbars everything is still displayed in just one line, despite the double taskbar height.
Whether I set the height of the taskbar to automatic or set it manually (in my case 77 px) makes no difference.
I can't say anything about the problem with the freezing taskbar yet, I'll have to test it for a while tomorrow.

What app are you using to make the Windows taskbar double-height on Windows 11? Your troubleshooting info shows you have Open Shell but I didn't think it had the ability to adjust the Windows 11 taskbar height.

Actually, I just grab the taskbar with the mouse pointer and then drag it to the double height. I don't know if this requires any other software or if it's a standard feature of windows 11.
Maybe it is part of the exploer patcher from Valinet Solutions.
Ah yep, it would be Explorer Patcher. Thanks! I can reproduce this now. The earlier double-height thing we fixed apparently only affected Windows 10, and this one only affects Windows 11. We should be able to fix this up for the next build.

I've had the same problem with Beta 24, 25, and 26. I'm only replying now because I see it on Win11 with StartAllBack, so I'm not sure if the fix would be common with Explorer Patcher or not.

B27 did not resolve the issue for me using StartAllBack 3.6.2 or 3.6.3. Interestingly I think the buttons are a bit shorter, but it's still not two-row.

Unfortunately, I have to confirm that.
And the problem with freezing still exists.
I click on a tab of an open application in one of the additional taskbars, then this taskbar is grayed out immediately, an hourglass appears and a few seconds later both additional taskbars are empty and also the Displayfusion tray icon disappears from the Windows taskbar. The subdivision of the taskbars remains the same.
It does not always happen, but regularly.
After that, Displayfusion must be restarted.
By the way, the restart takes considerably longer with the last 3-4 beta versions than before with the final version.
As attachment a new file.

I can report the same - 10.0 final fixed the issue.
Glad to hear it, thanks for confirming!

@doofenshmirtz: Could you enable debug logging and send me a log next time it hangs?
As attachment the log file.
The Displayfusion crash occurred on 04/16/2023 at 17:34.
Displayfusion could not be restarted afterwards. Only after restarting Windows did the application run normally again.

Thanks! I will pass the log over to our developers to take a look at and we'll keep you posted on what we find out.
Just a quick update here, we're making some changes for 10.1 Beta 3 that should hopefully help here. We'll let you know when it's available to try out.
Thanks!
We've just released 10.1 Beta 3, could you update to that and if you still run into this issue, send us a new debug log?
Thanks!

So far no further crashes, neither with Beta 2, nor with Beta 3.
Glad to hear it, thanks for following up to let us know!
