I have been trying to use the new video wallpaper feature to no avail. i have been trying to convert my video so that it will recognize it and use it. So far I have got .gif to work but its bad quality and have been trying to use others. None have worked. Any chance your going to add .webm to the list? Also what formats are currently working for the beta? Thanks for your time and help! Love displayfusion and recommend it anyone who has or wants multi-monitors.

Which version of Windows are you using? I'll check on the questions about the file formats as well :)

Ok, thanks! Here's the currently tested list of file formats that should work (as long as you have the codecs for them):

.3g2, .3gp, .3gp2, .3gpp, .amv, .avi, .divx, .dv, .evo, .f4v, .f4p, .f4a, .f4b, .flv, .gif, .hdmov, .m1v, .m2p, .m2t, .m2ts, .m4v, .mjpeg, .mkv, .mod, .mov, .mp2v, .mp4, .mp4v, .mpa, .mpeg, .mpg, .mpv4, .mts, .ogg, .ogm, .ogv, .rm, .rv, .tp, .tps, .trp, .ts, .tts, .vob, .wm, .wmv

If you change the drop-down to "All Files" in the Open File dialog, you can also select .webm and they should work. We'll add it to the list for the next beta.

If you haven't already, could you try installing a codec pack, like the K-Lite Codec Pack to see if that helps with the video playback?

We had tried to add sizing/cropping support in the betas but it was very unreliable, so we took it out. We are hoping to be able to get it working better and add it in a future version though.

Thanks!

Are you meant to be able to randomise the wallpaper videos? I am unable to do it.

You should be able to, but it doesn't seem to be random for me either. I've put this on our list to investigate and fix up for the next version.

Thanks!

Thanks for replying. Look forward to it working.
Any chance we can get a screensaver that plays the videos?

It is on our feature request list, so we'll definitely let you know if/when we're able to implement one!

We've just released a new DisplayFusion beta version (http://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta/) and the alphabetical order issue should be all fixed up. Please let us know if you run into any trouble after updating.

Thanks!

I'm having the same problem even though I've changed the option to allow all sources in all versions of Windows.
I simply cannot get a MP4 video to work as a wallpaper.
I'm running Windows 10 home on a pretty decent machine.

Edit: K-Lite worked like a charm.
P.S. If anyone knows of a live wallpaper site that lets your download mp4 without forcing you to install some browser hijacker/ransomware BS let me know.
