So I just purchased DisplaFusion Pro and it works in almost every way, BUT when I save a Windows postion, SOME of the windows will not go back to the right postion... (I'm on Windows 10).
Now the windows that do not reload in the right postions are the Windoes created via Vivaldi's other profiles - it's easy to test, install the Vivaldi browser and setup an extra profile, then have a few windows open, from different profiles, then use displayF's (Window Postion Profiles) to save the windows postions and then obviously move the windows - then load the profile - you should get the same result as me, no Vivaldi windows go back to their right postion.
Now it will save and re-load windows for other apps chrome / firefox etc, so when I have a screen full of other browser windows open and save a profile, then they all load back to where they should, but the Vivaldi windows that are made via other Vivaldi profiles, well they have all sorts of issues.
I went into the Edit functions and tried changing the path (Process Filename) to ""C:\Vivaldi bottom monitors\Application\vivaldi.exe" --profile-directory="Profile 3"" but to no avail - it did'nt make any difference - but maybe this helps anybody trying to reproduce the issue!
The issue is I guess - and this is real unique to me is...
All the windows will be "Chrome_WidgetWin_1"
And the Windows TXT will all be the same!
When you ask DF to load back a Window profile, all the Vivaldi windows get loaded back into the same onscreen location, layered / stacked on top of each, because DF seems to be treating the other Vivaldi profile windows as coming from the same folder location (exe)... which technically they are... I hope that makes sense.
If there is a simple answer, then I'm all ears
