FYI, I tried doing a search and it appears to not be working, so I apologize if this has already been addressed.

The main reason I use Display Fusion is for multi-monitor wallpaper, which it has always done well. However, there is an added system tray notification message bubble as of version 6 (and or Windows 8.1?) that arbitrarily slows you down. I use the hot key ctrl+win+R to switch to next wallpaper. Often times, I don't necessarily like the wallpapers that it randomly gave me on my 3 monitors, so I just hit the hot key combo again. Now, I have to wait for about 8 seconds for the stupid message bubble to sloowwwwly fade away and be gone for a second before the hot key will do anything. You can pound the hot key combo 20 times and it won't do anything until it's done displaying the extremely pointless message.

I read every advanced setting and there is no setting to turn this off. I hid the system tray icon, yet it still has the delay.

I haven't tried reverting back to v5 yet. Hoping I don't have to, but this is seriously annoying me.

Anyone have fix for this?

This is due to a change we had to make to prevent the wallpaper threads from stacking. We're planning to fix it up before 6.0.1 though :)

I'll post an update as soon as it's fixed in a beta.

Thanks!

We've just released a new DisplayFusion beta version (http://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta/) and this issue should be all fixed up. Please let us know if you run into any trouble after updating.

Thanks!
