I'm having the same issue as the guy in this thread: https://www.displayfusion.com/Discussions/View/explorer-crashes-with-each-wallpaper-change-windows-10-18990/?ID=97f6dda1-3afc-47b0-a4f6-0eb4f07cfdb9
When I turn off Display Fusion, the crashes go away, but as soon as I restart it and the wallpapers change, Windows Explorer crashes.

Thanks for the debug log! Unfortunately it doesn't indicate any issues :(

Does explorer.exe crash on every wallpaper change? Or only after DisplayFusion has been running for a while?

Every wallpaper change. I stopped Display Fusion, rebooted, and started it back up on reboot. As soon as the wallpaper changes, it crashes. Here's something funny though. If I'm not doing anything, like the computer just sits, it doesn't crash. But as SOON as I sit down and move the mouse, it crashes. Like it was waiting to crash until I could watch it crash. :) I've uninstalled Display Fusion and haven't had a crash or slowdown since. Which is depressing because I've been a Pro user for years, and I love the wallpaper swaps. But I use this computer for work, and can't have Explorer crashing all the time. If there's any other logs I can provide, I'm happy to.

Ok, thanks! Any chance you could try the latest 9.6 Beta and let me know if it does the same thing?

I've installed it, and no problems yet. I'll let you know in a day or so.

Well, I've had the beta installed for a day now, and so far, no crashes. BUT, things seem slow again. Just to change the wallpaper takes 10 seconds. I timed it three times. Right clicking, and choosing "Next image", that takes a full 10 seconds. The "slowness" is anecdotal though. It just "seems" slower overall.

That's a normal amount of time for the wallpaper changes. The .NET image library takes a bit to resize/stitch the final image together :)

Hey Keith, I don't know what happened, but the crashes and slow downs have started again after the latest update of Windows. I'm on Windows 10, Version 2004, OS build 19041.113 if that helps.

Do the slowdowns and crashes happen everytime DisplayFusion changes the wallpaper?
