Shortcuts to image files in Wallpaper Source folders are ignored. I prefer to be able to use only a subset of images from multiple drives and folders on my system without having to duplicate them. Using "Add File" to specify each image is a real pain when there are many I want to use for wallpaper. Setting up a single folder containing shortcuts is much easier. and duplicating the
images them wastes hard drive space.

If a shortcut is invalid it should, of course, be ignored (no message displayed.)

I've added this to our feature request list and we'll be sure to let you know if/when we're able to implement it in a future version :)

Thanks!

I would really like to be able to do this too, I was disappointed when I spent a bunch of time gathering shortcuts and they didn't work.

Hope the devs find time to make this work soon!

Until the developers have made this feature, why not use junction points? In cmd mklink /j <link path> <path to source> more help see using key "mklink /?". For example: You have empty folder "wallpaper" on disk "c:" and on disks "f:", "e:" , "i:" folders with wallpaper. Then the command will look like the following "mklink /j c:\wallpaper\WallFromDiskE e:\wallpaper", "mklink /j c:\wallpaper\WallFromDiskF f:\MyWallpaper", "mklink /j c:\wallpaper\WallFromDiskI i:\Pictures" or use Junction by Mark Russinovich. Then in DF settings you specify the folder "c:\wallpaper".
