Hi all,

Running DF v3.0.6 on Windows 7. It was fine on my previous install.
But this weekend, I installed a newer build of Windows 7, and now the taskbar on my second monitor shows the program's icons as if it was set to "combine when taskbar is full" in Win7. That means it shows the icon *and* the text (name of the application running).
Previously, it would only show the icon, just like the taskbar on the main monitor.
Is there any way I can change it back to the previous behaviour?

Windows 7 build is 7229, by the way....

Thanks!

Regards,
Mark.

It's possible that something has changed in the newer Windows 7 builds. Unfortunately, I only have access to the 7100 build through my MSDN subscription. :( If you change your Windows taskbar property relating to item combining, does it have any effect?

That worked.
It was set to "Always combine, hide labels". But nevertheless, it was still showing the labels on the second monitor. I changed the setting to "never combine", and then back to "Always combine, hide labels".
That did the trick, so the taskbar on my second monitor is now only showing icons, like it should.

Thanks! :)

Regards,
Mark.

Excellent, no problem. For future reference, you can also force the setting in DisplayFusion as well (so it doesn't rely on the Windows setting). Just visit this page:

Use the setting called "Taskbar Icons Only" to force either icons only, or text with icons. :)
