see above. main monitor in the center, Startech USB32VGApro on either side. all set to native resolutions and no scaling. sometimes when the center start button is clicked, the start menu will open on the left monitor. if i go and click the start on the left monitor, it opens there, and then works properly on the main monitor. doesn't happen very often but enuf to make it a pain. running 7.3. not into doing betas unless there is a fix i need and i didn't see this. not using 3rd party start menu. ask if you would like any other info. many thanks for any assistance you can supply.
