I have Windows 7 64-bit and the Steam version of DisplayFusion. I've done most of my graphics work in Photoshop. Switching between monitors was a lot more friendly with the "Center child windows over the parent window" option in Window Management. In fact it's the reason I purchased DisplayFusion.

However, I've recently acquired Clip Studio Paint and it appears to have been constructed oddly, because "centering" the child window always puts the windows in the upper left of monitor 1.

There is a "compatibility" tab in DisplayFusion where I can disable certain behaviors and features on certain applications, but this particular behavior doesn't seem to be something I can disable on a per-application basis.

Is there an option I'm missing in compatability? Or could the "center child windows" option be added to compatibility? Or perhaps there's another way to disable this behavior for one application?

Thanks for anything.

There isn't currently a way to block a specific application from that feature, but we'll definitely put that on the list for the Compatibility rules.

In the meantime, maybe we can figure out why it's broken for that application in the first place :)

Would you be able to send a debug log? Here are the steps:
  • On the Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L2: Log Detailed"
  • Restart DisplayFusion
  • Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Send us the DisplayFusion.log and DebugInfo.html files (can be found by clicking the Open Log button on the Troubleshooting tab)
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

Thanks!

I have sent the log files and an explanation image using the Contact Us form. I see now that files can be privately attached to the forum. I will include them here as well.

Thanks! I was able to reproduce this here as well, and have added it to our list. We'll be sure to let you know when we're able to get it all fixed up.

Hello, I'm using Windows 10 and Clip Studio Paint. I have a Wacom Cintiq as the third monitor and I have the same issue where all the modal windows are opened in the top right corner of the monitor 1. I captured the log. It happens at 20.01 (local time). Also all the tool windows when I start the program are opening in the monitor 1 instead of the Cintiq one (monitor 3).

Thank you in advance for your help.

We've released a new beta that should fix this up, please let me know if you run into any issues after updating.

Thanks!
