I'm not sure if this issue is unique to me, but I thought I'd bring it up. I'm running DisplayFusion Pro 9.1 (DF) on a Windows 7 laptop, and moving it from my work desk docking station to my home desk docking station regularly. I purchased the DF license because I wanted to be able to split my 4K TV at work, and I've also got an inexpensive 4K TV at home I'm using DF to split. The problem I've noticed since I started moving the laptop back and forth is that the splits I set up on one dock don't carry through to the next time I connect it there. I've configured the splits on my work station multiple times, as well as the home station. I don't see an option to save these splits, so I'm forced to reconfigure each time I move the laptop to the alternate docking station. This is going to become a major pain point- DF was intended to make my life easier, and having to re-do it every day (sometimes multiple times a day) is less-easy.
Opinions?
Personally I'd love to see a "save splits" button in DF; the presets are OK, but not perfect, and it'd really help me to be able to save my specific configuration for re-use, especially if I'm going to have to re-do it every time I dock the laptop at a new station. Alternately, I'd like to see DF "fingerprinting" each split config to the docking station, then remembering the config at that station later. That's a bigger lift than adding a "save split preset" button, I think.

Thanks for the tip! I'm going to give that a try and will report back on my status.

Yeah... that didn't work out very well. When I used the function, the screen resolution on my 4K TV dropped to 1080p, so instead of restoring my splits, it zoomed in on one screen and I had to revert to the previous settings, then go back and manually set up my splits.
Any other suggestions?
That's strange! Could you attach a new copy of your troubleshooting info so that I can see what got saved in the Monitor Profile?

Sure, here we go (sorry for the delay, I blame the weekend and a busy work-week):

No worries, thanks! Which profile was it that you loaded when it messed up the resolution?

Loading the Work Desk profile results in the screen resolution going wonky- it resets to a much lower resolution (I think it was 1080p, but I don't keep it long enough to troubleshoot).
Loading the Home Desk profile does tend to set my splits correctly, though, so that's a definite improvement over previous experiences.

And yet, today, it worked fine.
I think there's some mystical set of steps that I'm randomly performing that allows this to work flawlessly once in a while, and at all other times, it's a cluster. I'm like those million monkeys with a million typewriters; they're bound to produce the book of Genesis at some point.

OK, here goes. I had a successful load of the profile today- didn't even have to go in and manually load it, it just worked. I have been executing a specific process lately which I think works best for this: after bringing the laptop in to the office, I open it and log in before doing anything with the docking station- once Windows is running normally, I dock the laptop and it detects the hardware on it's own- DF has been good about loading the right profile when I do this, although I think this is the first time I've directly noticed that it loaded the profile without needing input from me.
Attaching the troubleshooting file now.
