When using DF beta 10 on Win7 with the start/taskbars vertical (in my case along the left edge of then screen(s) )

The icon background highlighting effect is only designed for a vertical alignment and only works left right.

Whereas the real taskbar does it up down

Cheers

It seems to work perfectly for me with either vertical or horizontal. Could you please provide more information, and possibly a screenshot with a mouseover not working? Thanks!

The mouse over works, but when you move the mouse within the icon box, the hotspot only goes left right

If you have the task bar in vertical cofiguration, and move the mouse around on an icon on the main bar, the hotspot moves up and down, but on the DF bar, it still only goes left to right

Does that make sense?

I see what he means - the glow hot tracks on both taskbars, but the DF taskbar moves the glow in the same direction regardless of orientation. The W7 taskbar tracks the moues with the glow from LR when it is top and bottom and up and down when it is L or R.

I've got this issue fixed for the next beta. It should be out in a couple days. Thanks!
