I didn't see a comprehensive list anywhere, but I've run into issues with several tools artifacting badly on Windows 7 64-bit while using DF 3.4 (and 3.3 in some cases). In each case disabling the Window Hook has fixed the artifacting (i.e. lines redrawing incorrectly when scrolling text)

SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) 2005
SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) 2008
SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) 2008 R2
Visual Studio 2003
Visual Studio 2005
Visual Studio 2008

Untested on VS 2010 as I don't have a copy of it

Unfortunately some applications don't behave properly when hooked. Creating compatibility rules for them to disable the hooks is the best way to go. We've attempted to fix up the issues before, but even hooks without any code in them will cause some apps to break :(

I understand Keith, I just wanted to get a post out there for searching so that it's easier to find when someone has artifacting issues and can see that disabling the hook might be the best way to go.
