Using some of the built in functions to move windows to top 50%, bottom 50% and 25% of all 4 corners. This works fine with most windows, but for some the windows are over-sizing. For the top/bottom ones it over hangs to the monitors on either side by about 25% each. For the corner ones it overhangs on whichever size it is moved/resized to by the same amount.
The main ones that seem to be MMC windows (ie Active Directory Users & Computers, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy Management). I've had similar issues moving a Trillian chat window, but never bothered me enough to say anything.
Any ideas on this? I saw an old discussion from 2015 that made it seem it was a known issue at the time, but I know everything was working fairly recently, just not sure if Windows 10 1903 broke it or DF 9.5.
Using Windows 10 1903 with DisplayFusion 9.5.

Thanks! Which monitor number are those windows on when you're running the functions? I'll setup a test machine here with the same monitor configuration as yours and see what I can find out.

Left to Right: 3, 1, 4, 2.
landscape, landscape, landscape, portrait.
Works fine for most windows like file explorer or chrome, but any MS MMC window and Trillian chat windows so far seem to be ones that extend past where they should. Oddly PowerShell works fine but, PowerShell ISE does not. I remember now that this one was broken in earlier version of Win 10/DF as well, but figured mentioning it may help.
Just noticed this: I have a titlebar icon for the display selector to move windows and the same apps are affected in the same way, though in some limited testing just now it isn't happening every time. (ie: moving windows 1 to 3 worked, but moving 3 to 4 sized it right on screen 4, but left it extended over screen 1 about 25%.
Let me know if I can get you any other info that would help.
Thanks! I'll test this out here and see what I can find out.
Ok, I haven't run into any trouble yet. Which Functions are you running on the Windows? Are they Custom Functions or one of the built-in ones?

They are the built in ones below:
"Move Window to Bottom-Left Corner and Size 50%"
"" Bottom-Right
"" Top-Left
"" Top-Right
"Size and Move Window to Right Side of Monitor"
"" Left Side
"Size and Move Window to Top Side of Monitor"
"" Bottom Side
The title bar button is the "Move Window to Different Monitor (show monitor selector)" option.
I just tested building a custom one. Setting it to Manage Window:
Move window to specified location: x=0 y=0
Window width to specified percentage: 100.00
Window height to specified percentage: 50.00
The first time I hit the hot key (using AD Users/Computers it seemed to work. The second and every time after it didn't.
Trying with File Explorer it works fine the same as the built in ones.
It's like the affected apps/windows are doing something wierd with the DPI on figuring out where to place the window. Screens 1, 3 and 4 are 4k at 125%. 2 is 1920x1200 at 100%.

Yeah, I just tested this on the 100% DPI setting monitor and they all work fine. On the 125% ones it spills over.
Monitors left/right again are: 3, 1, 4, 2.
Using the function on 1 spills to 3 and 4. Using the function on 4 spills to 1, but not to 2. Using it on 3 spills to 1, but not 2.

Thanks! I was able to reproduce that here. It does indeed seem like the MMC windows are using the scaled sizes differently than normal applications.
We've added this to our list to fix up, and we'll be sure to let you know if/when we're able to get it sorted out.
In the meantime, if you enable this option in the DisplayFusion Settings > Advanced Settings, it should work: "Window Management: Use Alternate Method To Move Windows". It's safe to leave that option enabled if you don't notice any other side effects.
Thanks!
