We are testing Window Location on a system with three monitors. Two for public display and one for control/Windows OS tasks.

We have two applications setup to go to each of the public display monitors. On monitor 1 we send a full screen Firefox window. On monitor 3 we send a CCTV viewer application. I have been finding that every so often for no reason (it seems) Firefox hops onto the primary display monitor 2 (non public) and we end up having to exit Firefox a reload to get it back to the correct display.

Though it could be to do with the Window location mode but that does not seem to do anything.

Any help I would be greatfull, and become a Pro customer :)

After the programs are launched and on their respective screens, could you try exiting DisplayFusion to see if the Firefox window still eventually moves to a different screen? DisplayFusion shouldn't be causing the already running window to move randomly, but I'd like to confirm before we proceed. If it still happens after DisplayFusion is closed, I have an idea for a workaround :)

So with the tests that I have done Firefox moves when Display Fusion is running and does not when Display Fusion is not running.

I was working on it was the furthest monitor away (20m HDMI) so the connection might be dropping just for a fraction of a second, but still not sure. Dropped the screen to 720p to reduce the bandwidth.

If you have any other ideas I am open to try, just about to try another application in case it is just Firefox

Miles, I use a Pale Moon, a Firefox fork. I have found that if I un-maximize the window, then close, open and maximize again, then close again, Firefox/Pale Moon will keep the monitor location.

Others I have talked to have said this is specifically a Firefox issue, not a DF issue.

My two cents.

Good luck & regards;
