Hi,

I'm having trouble restoring an window that restores as minimized.

When I click a folder icon which was minimized(or any windows that was minimized really), it restores on the top left corner with everything shrunken as you can see in the picture.

It only happens on my 2nd monitor.

I think it has to do with Triggers I made. So I'm attaching my Trigger configuration as pic files.

Thank you!!

Hello,

If you disable your "Window Restored" trigger, does the issue persist?

Thanks!

Hello,

Thanks for sending that over. Let's disable both of your triggers, just to rule them out. If the issue persists after disabling both, can you disable your DisplayFusion taskbar, and enable the Windows multi-monitor taskbar in the Windows Taskbar settings, and see if that fixes it?

Thanks!

Hello,

Thank you so much for going through troubleshooting with me.

Here's what I did:
Disabled all triggers - No fix
Disabled all triggers, multi-monitor taskbars from Display Fusion settings and enabled windows multi-monitor taskbars - Fixed.
Enabled all triggers, disabled multi-monitor from Display Fusion setting and enabled windows multi-monitor taskbars - Fixed.

Thank you!

Hello,

Interesting, and if you re-enable the DisplayFusion Multi-monitor taskbars and disable the Windows ones, does the issue come back?

Thanks!

Hello,

Could you send me over a debug log? Here are the steps:

  • On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and click Apply
  • Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Reply with the file attached
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

Thanks!

Hello,

After I changed the log setting, I enabled the multitask bar from DisplayFusion and reproduced the symptom.

It was done around 9:17am EST.

Thank you!

Hello,

Sorry for the delay. Could you send me over a backup of your settings? You can grab them in the DisplayFusion Settings > Options > "Export Settings" button.

Thanks!
