I tested this out on my end, and it seemed to work correctly. Could you send me over a video of the issue happening?
Thanks!
1) Thanks for sending that video over. The Window Snapping settings are for windows snapping to monitor edges, or other application window edges. It looks like you're referring to the "Enable maximized window dragging between monitors" & "Show monitor selector while dragging" settings in the DisplayFusion Settings > Window Management tab.
Holding shift will override that window management setting, and should prevent that from happening.
2) Is DisplayFusion silently crashing, or is it hanging when doing something in particular?
Thanks!

1) ah. nice setting, but why can't it respect the shift modifier key setting? (I want it to only do it WITH the shift key held, and only show the snapping border if the shift key is held, per setting)
1a) Suggestion: i also think this setting should be included in the snapping section, as it looks like a snapping function. (maybe list it in both places?)
Or maybe the above is an improvement/suggestion
2) it was crashing w/o any interaction/action (silent, icon still in systray until mouse-over). BUT it has not crashed since i disabled XMP on my alder-lake mobo. Might be something to look into, DF seems to be one of the few programs not very fault-tolerant or capable of better self-recovery in this case #improvements.
Thanks
1a & b) I've added this to our feature request list. We don't guarantee that feature requests will be implemented, or offer timelines on possible implementation. We'll be sure to let you know if we do add it to our planned features in a future version.
2) Ah okay interesting, if the issue comes back just let me know.
Thanks!
