I apologize in advance if I should have found this via a search, but I can't see anything in the known issues, etc.

Should Windows 10 jump lists be supported on the display fusion bar? In particular I am trying it with Excel, which I have pinned on a DF bar. When the program is not running and I right click it, I only get the DF options and the choice to open the program. Once the program is running, I see all the jump list recent docs I expect to see.

If I pin it on the Windows taskbar, I get full jump list access when the program is not running.

Is it possible to have this same functionality on the DF taskbar?

This is unfortunately a bug that we haven't been able to sort out yet. I've added your info to the open ticket, and we'll definitely let you know when we've gotten it all fixed up :)

Thanks!

Hi All,

In DisplayFusion Pro 8.0 Beta 5, I'm seeing some strangeness with a pinned shortcut for Remote Desktop (RDP). When there is no RDP window open, I can't see a jumplist on the taskbar shortcut. But, if I open a RDP window, the jumplist shows up.

I'm attaching the troubleshooting and log files.

Thanks!

@mikeyw: I've merged your post with another topic for the same issue. It's currently on our list to fix up :)

Last Monday we released a new DisplayFusion beta version (http://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta/) and this issue should be all fixed up. Please let us know if you run into any trouble after updating.

Thanks!

Your 06-Jun-2016 post indicates that this was (may have been?) fixed for Windows 10. I have the exact problem described here in Win 7 Pro x64 with DisplayFusion Pro 8.0, just installed yesterday.

Thanks! Got your email about this as well, so I'll post my answer here too for others to see. This did indeed break in Windows 7 with DisplayFusion 8.0, but we'll have it all fixed up for 8.0.1 :)
