Logon image works as set by DF, but after connecting to this machine via RDP, it is reset to some image that I can't find. It appears to be an image that was set at one time as my logon image, but it's always the same image.

Any ideas?

Yes, it was still using that image. But, good news -- something has changed, possibly with a Windows update or maybe an update to DF, and the problem is gone!
