I have been checking out the Free version deciding whether to buy or not. After installing and setting up my computer will not go to sleep with displayfusion running.

I have checked by disabling DF and The computer goes to sleep, as soon as I Enable DF the screens will time out like they should but the system never sleeps, when I force it to sleep I'll come back in a while and the system will be awake again.

Is there something I am missing here ? I have run a Powersrc /requests and windows 10 is showing nothing is preventing the system from sleeping.

I'm not sure what that would be! There aren't any features in DisplayFusion that are setup to prevent the computer from going idle. So
powercfg /requests
shows nothing at all when DisplayFusion is running?

It's not DisplayFusion.. I have completely removed it from my PC (the demo version) and Im still having the issue. Im still trying to narrow it down, but it's a very aggrivating process, espeically since this is a fresh install of Windows, and wasn't having this issue prior to the reinstall.

Ok, glad to hear it's not DisplayFusion at least! The usual suspects that I've found causing the system not to sleep are:

  • Video player apps (or web browsers with videos playing in tabs)
  • Any full screen apps
  • Background apps that allow remote access (e.g. RealVNC, TeamViewer, etc)
  • Wireless keyboard/mouse drivers

Hope that helps, good luck tracking it down!
