Hi, I've been using display fusion for quite some time, and it has been really handy.
Not to long ago I upgraded to win10, after upgrading it fixed all the issues I had with 7, but now I my cursor occasionally stutters.
Basically I play a game called osu!
It uses opengl and runs in fullscreen.
Mouse occasionally stutters/freezes for a slight second, just enough to stop my movement but no audio lag or anything.
Closed display fusion and the problem is gone.
Tried disabling global hooks and shell hooks but no luck.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you disable any of the other features (Taskbars, TitleBar Buttons, etc) does that make any difference? If not, could you attach a copy of your troubleshooting info?
  • Open the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the "Copy to Clipboard" button
  • Paste the text into a text file (please don't paste the text directly into your reply, the formatting gets garbled and makes it difficult to parse)
  • Reply with the file attached

Sorry about the late response. I tried turning off the multi monitor task bar, but no luck. I don't use/ really know much about tiles you mentioned so that hasn't changed.

Ok, does it stutter on a consistent interval? Or is it random?

It seems random to me. But it generally happens at least once every 1-3 mins

Does it happen in any other games? Or just Osu?

Seems like just osu, so it may have to do with openGL

Ok, we'll see if we can test with that game here as well.

Good news! We were able to reproduce this issue here with Osu running on Windows 10. I've added it to our list, and we'll be sure to let you know when it's all fixed up :)

Thanks!

Could you try DisplayFusion 8.0 Beta 7?: https://www.binaryfortress.com/Files/DisplayFusion/DisplayFusionSetup-8.0-Beta7.exe

And if that works, also try DisplayFusion 8.0 Beta 8?: https://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta

Thanks!

Still happening in October 2017. Just downloaded the beta (v9.0) to see if it's resolved in latest build.

It's been very consistent last few days, 1-10% cpu usage, 30% ram usage max, same problem with or without programs open.
If I close DisplayFusion, problem disappears.

Testing beta, will report back if resolved. So far so good (5 minutes in)

Determined problem IS NOT display fusion.

Was resolved by disabling entirely two items:
  • Realtek Audio HD Manager
  • Cortana

These two are well known in Windows 10 community for causing this problem.
DisplayFusion operates excellently. Thank you!
