Hello,
So all was fine, updated DisplayFusion and Windows at the same time. Now I get these annoying quirks....

Windows > Settings > Multitasking > Snap Windows [ON]

With this option ON, everything is fine, except while dragging a window from one monitor to another it will snag on the edges. I used to just be able to nicely drag it over slowly. Now I have to quickly move the mouse otherwise it will stop and try to maximize the window there.

Windows > Settings > Multitasking > Snap Windows [OFF]

With this option OFF, the windows no longer snag while dragging between monitors. However that was swapped for the new issue in which I can not simply grab the title bar of a maximized window and drag it away. I now have to first double click it to detach it from being maximized, and THEN drag it.

Please Help!

All my monitors are the same, with same settings. All was working perfectly until I did the update today.

NOTE!!
Possibly obvious observation, but windows that can NOT be maximized do not snag when dragged. For example the snipping tool window BEFORE you snip something does NOT snag when dragged across windows. But if you snip something, the window can now be maximized and now it gets snagged when dragging across monitors. Well at least I thought that was interesting. Also sub-menus do not get snagged.

Any help is appreciated!

Could you send me a copy of your troubleshooting info? Here are the steps:
  • Open the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button

Thanks!

Attached!

Also I should note, I did end up finding a program that solved this issue. Its a free app that I found here:

Cheers,

Hi John,

Thanks for sending that over. So that described behavior with the snap setting turned off is expected, as that's normal Windows behavior.

I can't seem to reproduce any snagging on my end with the snap setting enabled though. Does the issue persist if you exit DisplayFusion?

Thanks!
