I am on a corporate computer with a lot of bloat... er.. customized software installed. Whenever DF does the next picture in a dropbox slideshow, the system really hangs. Whenever I open up DF it also hangs (like mouse is not very responsive) while opening. Any quick fixes? This may be just a bad computer, but I didn't think loading a picture would take many resources.

There are a couple of things you can try:

  • In the Desktop Wallpaper window, click Wallpaper Settings, and disable the "Use transitions when changing..." option.
  • In the Settings > Advanced Settings window, enable the "Wallpaper: Generate Smaller Files (lower quality)" option.
  • If the above two don't make any difference, try enabling the "General: Run as a Low Priority Process" option in the Advanced Settings and restarting DisplayFusion.

Hope that helps!

No dice. I'm guessing the computer is just slow and encumbered by old and bloated software. Thanks!
