For us holdouts that will sticking with Windows 7 until the bitter end, and probably a bit past that-
It seems some folks have managed to get "live" wallpaper functionality on Windows 7: http://store.steampowered.com/app/431960/Wallpaper_Engine/
I see that right now a few of the options on DisplayFusion, including video and website wallpapers, are restricted to Windows 8+ - any chance this could be looked into and brought to 7 as well, if applicable? (The program above seems to support both.)

The video and website wallpaper sources work on some Windows 7 setups. If you want to give it a try, you can enable the "Wallpaper: Allow All Sources in All Versions of Windows" option in the DisplayFusion Settings > Advanced Settings window, and restart DisplayFusion.
