Hey guys,

Been a while since I been here! :D Which is a good thing because it means DF was just perfect!

However... Ever since I updated to Windows 8 a couple months ago, I've noticed some weird behaviour with the DF taskbar and a few games. Pretty much what happens is the game starts fine, goes full screen, then as soon as it goes full screen, DF seems to claim focus, and forces to the game to go back to window mode. The only solution to this at the moment is to completely exit out DF (which obviously, is not preferred).

The odd thing is that this doesn't happen to all games though... Nor does it seem to happen when the windows taskbar is on the screen the game is on.

For a test case, here are the games I remember of the top of my head that are affected by this behaviour:
- Battlefield 3
- Battlefield 4
- F1 2013

I hope a better solution then exiting DF can be found ASAP.

Kind regards,
Thierry

Glad to hear that DisplayFusion has been mostly bug-free for you lately :)

To clarify, this issue occurs if the game launches full screen on a monitor that has the DF taskbar? So, you must have the Windows taskbar on a secondary monitor, and the DF taskbar on your Primary then?

That is correct. My screen setup is as follows:
Left, DF taskbar (Technically inversed version of normal windows taskbar, that is to say, start button right, tray left)
Center, primary, DF taskbar (Pretty much a dummy taskbar, has only got running applications on it, which are centered on the taskbar.)
Right, Windows taskbar

Tested and confirmed! We'll look into it to see if there's anything we can do. In the meantime, you can work around the issue by adding a Compatibility rule for the game, and in the rule, enable the "Disable DisplayFusion Taskbars while this Application is running" option.

Is it possible to just disable the taskbar for a single screen with the compatibility settings too?
