Hi, I recently bought DisplayFusion on Steam. I am running Windows 8.1 Pro and have two monitors. I am not using any start menu program such as Start8. Just vanilla Windows 8.1 Pro. On my secondary monitor the Windows button does not work. If I click on it once, nothing happens. If I click on it twice the Windows button on the primary monitor changes color but other than that, nothing happens.

I have searched the forums, but have not found a solution to the problem. I have tried changing the Advanced Settings-->Taskbar: Invoke Start Menu Using Click Instead of Windows Key to Simulated mouse click will be used, but that did not solve the problem though I did see it as the solution to other people who had a similar problem. However, those people all seemed to be using some Start Menu enhancement program like Start8 and I am not.

I tried using the latest general release. Now I am running the latest beta. The problem exists for me on both version. I am somewhat at a loss and hoping someone can help.

Thank you for your purchase! If you just press the Windows key on the second monitor, does the Start screen open correctly? If so, could you disable the "Taskbar: Invoke Start Menu Using Click Instead of Windows Key" option again, and try the following?
  • Right-click the Windows taskbar, choose Properties
  • Click the Navigation tab
  • Enable the "Show Start on the display I'm using..." option
  • Click OK, then try the DisplayFusion Start button again

If that still doesn't work, could you send over a debug log? Here are the steps for that:
  • On the Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "Logging: Important Only"
  • Restart DisplayFusion
  • The next time it occurs, note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Send us the DisplayFusion.log and DebugInfo.html files (can be found by clicking the Open Log button on the Troubleshooting tab)
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

Thanks!
