Would it be possible to include the Windows Ink Workspace Tray Icon when using DisplayFusion's multi-monitor taskbar? I am currently running Windows 10 (Version 1709) on a Microsoft Surface Book 2 and it would be great if I could launch the ink workspace on all monitors when running DisplayFusion.

Thanks.

This is currently on our list, but there's no Windows API that would allow us to add it, so at the moment, we're not sure if it's possible. If we're able to find a way to add it in the future, we'll definitely let you know.

Thanks!

I've seen this working with on another multi-display handler. It came with my Lenovo Yoga 920 laptop... Builtin Intel Graphics management?

I would really like this as I run multiple displays, but the pen shows only on the display that doesn't support the pen. With the other handler the pen appeared on all of the desktop task bars.

I'm guessing that it was just the built-in Windows 10 multi-monitor taskbars before. You can try re-enabling them like so:

  • On the DisplayFusion Settings > Taskbar tab, disable the "Enable multi-monitor taskbars" checkbox and apply the Settings.
  • Right-click the Windows taskbar, choose "Taskbar Settings," and enable the "Show taskbar on all displays" option.

Hello,

with the latest Windows 10 Update 1803 the Ink Workspace is now available on all monitors, but only when the windows multi Task-bar is turned on.

So windows has made it available, please make it available in DF.

I would like to add that I prefer hide the system icons on the non-primer monitors. It would be best if the Ink-Workspace icon is kept a s a separate icon, on the task bar, not part of the system icons.

Thank you
