I downloaded this program about 3 days ago and it was working perfectly till today, where my windows key just doesn't work at all. I haven't changed anything related to keyboard shortcuts at all and I can't seem to fix this by any settings within the program or within windows itsself
Is there any solution to this?
That's really strange, if you exit DisplayFusion, does that key start working?
Thanks!

Hi, sorry for the late reply, it doesn't work at all even with the program disabled, I even tried uninstalling it temporarily and it's still disabled
there was a whole list of recommended ways to fix it I found including a registry edit and a few other things but none of them have restored its functionality unfortunately

I'm sorry my information is so vague by the way, I'm not really sure how to make a log that would even really help solve this, it worked for about a week of having the program and then suddenly stopped, the only thing that lets me click the windows key is the On Screen Keyboard
If there's anything I can do to help this actually make sense I'd be happy to, it's a really weird issue

I'm kind of suspicious about this being DF's fault at all. A lot of "gaming" keyboards will have ways of disabling the Win key. Some do it via software, some do it by a physical switch on the keyboard itself or Fn key combo. You can do this through the registry too, but that's less common.
Do you have the ability to test this keyboard on another machine or test a different keyboard on the affected machine?
Hi Tiffany,
If the issue persists without DisplayFusion running, it's likely something else causing it. Did you install any other software, or change any hardware around the same time the issue started?
@JLJTGR has a good suggestion with trying the keyboard on another computer as well.
Thanks!

So I found out it was something else, is there any way to delete this thread? I apologise for all this LOL there was a physical button with a windows key lock, but it's light stopped working so I didn't even see that it was on/existed
