Hi all

After the latest Windows updates and the update to DF beta 3 my logon screen was suddenly spanned across all three monitors. (Before it only would allow 2560px in width)
Did Microsoft fix something here or is this a bug/feature on my machine ;)?

However, since this new feature (or bug...) is present, now the logon image seems to be cropped and then scaled up again to match 5760x1080px.
See here:

Logon image: http://www.directupload.net/file/d/3717/d62iv2bm_jpg.htm

Is this due to Windows still limiting the file size to 250KB? Can this be fixed somehow?
Option: You could also provide the possibility to let DF automatically change the logon image once at logon/program start with a seperately chosen local pool of images. So it wouldn't depend on the wallpaper.

Maybe important: I'm using the option "Take active wallpaper" for the logon background. Manually setting a fullscreen (5760x1080px) logon image and setting it to center is working fine.

Have a nice day!

Interesting! I've confirmed here that it was a Windows Update as well :)

We'll see what we can do about getting the image scale fixed up!

Thanks!

The logon screen is one of the many minor annoyances I encounter with using a Surround setup. May I ask what version of Windows this is working on?

Hi Nillaz

I am using Windows 7 Professional 64 Bit with all the latest updates. I don't know which update it was in particular but it started working after 16. August. I installed around ten updates on the 15. and about another ten on the 16. On the next logon I was shown a full triple screen logon image.

I hope this helps.

Kind regards

Installed the latest updates today and this worked without any fuss on Windows 7 Ultimate x64. Much obliged for the heads up!
