Hey there, wondering whether any testing has been done with Windows Mixed Reality. I've recently stepped up to a Reverb G2 and whenever it's enabled none of my monitor profiles work.
WMR works by creating three effective displays that appear whenever the headset is worn, then disappear after its disabled. (Either by manually closing the WMR app or when the headset goes to sleep.) Have attached screenshots of what this looks like with WMR disabled and enabled.
I have four displays attached and was previously using DisplayFusion toggle between the one on my sim racing rig and the three sitting on my desktop depending on whether I'm working or driving. Now, whenever the heaset is enabled, nothing works.
I've tried creating additional profiles that include the three WMR displays, but those don't seem to work. I don't necessarily get errors, they just don't apply.
And, quite often when I'm using the "Gaming" monitor config (single monitor enabled) and WMR activates, my PC actually goes back to my "Normal" config (three monitors enabled).
It's all really frustrating. Primarily wondering whether anyone on the DisplayFusion side has done any testing with WMR.
Appreciate any help!

I've got a Samsung Odyssey+ that I use for iRacing, I'll give this a test and see what I can find out.
In the meantime, one of those issues might not be related to DF. When you're on your gaming monitor, can you try exiting DisplayFusion, then startup the WMR headset and see if it still switches back to your 3 desk monitors?

Thanks, Keith. I'm iRacing too most of the time.
I'm pretty sure it's not a DF issue that's causing it to switch back. I'll give that a go next time I jump in.
Ok, quick update on this. The good news is that I was able to reproduce this issue. The bad news is that it might be tricky to fix. For some reason, when the WMR headset is enabled, it makes all of the physical monitors detect as "unknown" instead of detecting their actual model number and the video card that they're connected to.
We're going to investigate further to see if it's a detection issue on our end though, so we'll keep you posted again when we've had a chance to do that.
Thanks!

Thanks, Keith. I appreciate you looking into it so quickly. I realize this is a pretty niche case. Just frustrating as I had everything all set up to toggle between my desktop and sim rig and as soon as I got the G2 that all went out the window!
Hello,
We've made some changes to our monitor configuration code that should fix this up in our latest beta, as described here: https://www.displayfusion.com/Discussions/View/monitor-configuration-backend-completely-revamped-in-displayfusion-100-beta-18/?ID=b17dacd1-0611-48c1-a29c-3a3e5046812a
Please let me know if you run into any issues after updating.
Thanks!
