New to DisplayFusion, trying to figure out how to do something that I suspect should be obvious. I want to set up a windows position profile that will position several specific windows across three monitors, ensuring that these windows display in front of any other windows that may be open. I can obviously set other specific windows that I do not want to see to minimize. However, I want specific windows displayed regardless of what other windows might be open and whether they are explicitly included (as minimized) in the profile. When I attempt to load a profile now, if any extraneous windows are displaying that are not explicitly listed in the profile, they will continue to display in front of the specific windows that I would like to display. Thanks.
Interesting! I haven't run into that, but we'll do some testing here and see what we can find out. I've added a ticket to our list to see if we can just force them to the front when loading the profile as well.
Thanks!

Thanks. I was able to hack it by creating a composite function that minimizes all windows and then calls for activation of the profile (launching the relevant applications if they are not already open). I suspect that there are more elegant ways to accomplish this. I used a windows management tool a few years ago that would do this automatically, but it was beyond buggy (I don't remember what it was called). It is a useful way to be able to move from workflow to workflow with minimum effort. DisplayFusion is a neat piece of software (I just upgraded to pro).
Glad to hear you found a workaround, and thanks for the kind words! We'll definitely keep you posted when we're able to implement this improvement.
