When using Windows Shake whilst DF is running only the windows in the primary monitor are effected.
Doesn't matter if I shake a window in the primary or secondary window, only those in monitor one minimise.
If I exit Display Fusion then all windows (except for the one being shook) in all monitors minimise as expected.

Am I missing something or is this a known flaw/feature in Display Fusion?

I can confirm this 'bug' too.

Windows 7 Pro 32-bits EN with 2 different sized monitors (left primair).

I would imagine that this has to do with the fact that DisplayFusion removes the taskbar entries for those windows. I'll check it out for the next beta. Thanks! :)

Hi Jon,

Thanks for the reply,
there are a couple of other wierd things going on with windows not behaving properly when minimised... I'll compile a full break down of action/result/expected result for you

Yea, just tested it. Does the same thing. Shaking on any of my 3 monitors only minimises open windows on the main non-DF monitor.

This is when you mousegrab the title bar of an application window and shake it right?
And the expected behaviour is that all windows should minimize?

This is exactly what is happening on my rig.

I grab a window and shake it - all other windows minimize.
Shake it again and the windows restores again.
It doesnt matter if the window "lives" on a primary taskbar or a DF one.
All open application windows on all 3 monitors minimizes and restores as expected.

Win7 x64 enterprise
DF 3.1.8

So unless I have misunderstood something then this is not a bug I experience.

right then, been on client site all week so couldn't get the full list of oddities up:
Windows 7 Professional
2 LCD displays, 1 connected via VGA, the other DVI
DF 3.1.8

Action Result Expected Result
Shake window in display 1 to minimise all other windows only windows in display 1 minimise all windows to minimise, apart from active window
Shake window in display 2 to minimise all other windows only windows in display 1 minimise all windows to minimise, apart from active window
Hotkey Windows + M with open windows only windows in display 1 minimise all windows to minimise
Hotkey Windows + M to restore windows no effect all previously open windows to restore
Selecting the desktop using windows+tab All windows minimised and Display Fusion taskbar disappears all windows minimised, DF to remain
Selecting the desktop using alt+tab No Bug, behaves as expected, all windows minimised and DF taskbar remains visable all windows minimised, DF taskbar to remain visible
Selecting the desktop using taskbar button (next to the clock) No Bug, behaves as expected, all windows minimised and DF taskbar remains visable all windows minimised, DF taskbar to remain visible

Unselecting the desktop to restore windows using taskbar button (next to the clock) No Bug, behaves as expected, all previously open windows restored all previously open windows restored

I'm not sure if I'll be able to work around this issue, as this is deeply rooted into Windows 7. :( I'll keep investigating, but I'm not too hopeful after what I have found so far, sorry.
